9/14/2011 Benefit For Vermont Flood Recovery, Essex Junction, VT

This show is soooo sick. Every note is like an orgasm.

Absolutely the best show Ive ever seen. Tight and with energy...my skin crawled at this one...must own it.

All that matters, is that we DANCED our arses off with all night long, with good friends and raised money for my home-state taboot!! Who cares that they didn't play the crazy jams you were expecting, did you listen to CARINI?! Best one I heard in awhile :) Hey Phish, it was so easy & fun back in VT...(lets do it more often, perhaps Highgate)? It was sweet for those Dead shows. Peace n Love

let me just say the setlist just doesnt do it justice i was there and the small crowd and energy made the venue and show unreal. My second favorite wolfman to date ever. it gets funky. buy it. the chalkdust had great tension release and the moma was great as well. The rock rool was a little cut short to me but still amazing show and for a great cause wolfmans was the bomb

all I see here is stuff about shirts (???)
anyway what a great show. the band's energy was peaking. sometimes they can get a little too excited and it seems to make them sloppy. this didn't happen this night. Serious FUNK FACTOR here. MOMA was a sex grind, really set the tone for the rest of the night. Sample In A Jar was sweetly played and sung. Perfect. Bathtub was truly transscendant. But Wolfman was the standard. IF you could mix Moma Dance and Wolfman into a cohesive jam, well, I think they did. This wolfman was a complete mind f##k, people. Sloppy start to Julius but good recovery.
2nd set picked up at that level and had no dropoff. Carini, made extra special by Trey's comments previous, really was played. Sometimes the guys play a song, and sometimes they PLAY IT. This was the latter. Down w/disease started typically than morphed back into the same mind f##k territory they established in Wolfman. Pure heaven. Slave was perfect where they played it. Like it better here than at the end of sets. Rock & Roll>Twist, great fun. Backwards is one of my favs by these guys so I was in heaven again. Sure hope the magic doesn't end. They're better than ever I think

Hold on here people. Why have I not seen one review (t-shirt whining doesn't count) that says that this Carini alone symbolizes that phish is AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME! Get this carini!!
